{mosimage}This morning in the veggie garden, I saw ONE rockmelon/canteloupe seedling. Yay.

Nothing else is sprouting yet, but I’m not sure how well the rest do in dry weather. Rockmelon, from what I’ve read, seems to thrive in it.

And we must be just days away from the first ripe apricots. There’s a few that are getting yellower every day….

This is my fourth Christmas in Australia but the first time we’ve had a tree. No room in the old place, and last year was just too crazy.

It’s already been investigated by both cats, and Caleb’s tried to but he can’t reach it. He likes the pretty lights though.

Tree: $2. Tinsel: $4. Lights: $5. Ornaments: Free, they all came from my mom.
